This hike took us about 3 hours in total and was largely flat, with at times, very rocky terrain. Clambering down to the waterfall is also quite a fun adventure, and would recommend taking a refreshing dip. Doesn't quite have the views of other walks (dragons back) but still splendid in its own right. Definite must.

Colonial names, I apologies, please if my Hong Kong friends can add the Chinese names in sequence, I would be happy. There are strolls... More

take a bus to Wong Nai Chung gap, and take either 2 roads to Violet Hill, you will follow a quiet shady trail amid a small rain forest. From Violet hill you can continue to Stanley through the Wilson trail, but it's rather difficult. Or you can retreat earlier to Repulse bay by taking the "treacherous trail" to Repulse bay.... More

We started on the Wong Nai Chung Reservoir Park and followed the signs of Wong Nei Chung Gap Trail until we found a sign for Tai Tam Country Trail. This will lead you eventually back to the other side of the Wong Nai Chung Reservoir. This walk is easy, some steps. Man made trail. You will find signs with the... More
