The trail officially starts next to Old Post Office on Queen's Road East. Can't miss it. We stayed across the road at Hotel Indigo so it was easy for us. It's a super steep climb for about 1.5km, all the way to the end where Peak Road intersects with Stubbs Road. The walk back down wasn't nearly was fun but... More

A little hard to find and a steep climb in parts but well worth it. It is so green and peaceful that you can't believe you are in a big city. Moss covered wide path with runners and cyclists as well. There are a lot of other trails in the area and all worth walking. Some lovely views from the... More

A very peacefull and relaxed walk. Once you get past the stairs that are a bit steep, it gets very easy, and you can follow a pretty relaxed trail. I don't think anyone mentioned, but there is a famous Lover's Rock along the Bowen's trail. You have to get off the trail and climb up the stairs, and there is... More

Just minutes away from the crowded streets of Wan Chai. This area is lovely and peaceful. The beautiful green trees and picturesque views of Hong Kong let you relax and unwind. It connects to Bowen fitness trail/path and a short detour takes you to Lover's Rock. Not for the faint of heart though, as the steep path and steps really... More

Just minutes away from the madness of Wan Chai & the craziness of Causeway Bay, this is my favourite urban hike on earth! The trail goes straight up giving your legs and heart a fine workout and great views over the city. It's also fascinating to see how nature & urban living coexist with trees and vines wrapping around concrete... More

My review is about the fitness trail more than the green one. I like to find a spot for a run wherever I go. We were staying at the Indigo in Wan Chai and this is accessible via some steep paths. Its only a few miles there and back but is traffic free and offers some great views over HK.

The Wan Chai Green Trail is Wan Chai Gap Road, or at least part of it is. From the Old Wan Chai Post Office on Queen's Road East, Wan Chai Gap Road runs up the mountain on a steep grade, and connects to Bowen Road Fitness Walking Track. Bowen Road runs horizontally along the mountain, approximately from Admiralty to Happy... More

Another wonderful way Hong Kong offers to escape from crowded metropolitan areas. The trail wriggles out through green forest deep spots to wonderful sightseeings of the city. The surroundings of Wan Chai and Po Lam Road include a really huge labyrint of other hiking paths to be discovered having time on your side, from where it is possible to reach... More
