This historic street market on the city's serene south coast is as popular with locals as it is with tourists. Go here for souvenirs like lacquerware, embroidered tablecloths, prints and paintings.

Stanley is getting from bad to worst, very commercialize now..! it's no longer the laid back and relaxing place that it used to be.

Hong Kong is always developing and re-developing and, while there has been some modernization, Stanley Market still retains a certain charm. It is a pleasant half-day trip from Central - take the 260 express bus, or the slower #6 bus. Good destination for inexpensive jewellery,...More

Good selection of goods for tourists. It is a quick mini bus ride from causeway bay. Would recommend visiting this market which doesn’t take much time and take a walk along the promenade. There are a few restaurants along the water front that you can...More

We really enjoyed Stanley Market. Took the 40 minibus from Causeway Bay, which gave us an opportunity to see a different bit of Hong Kong, only took 22 minutes to get to Stanley. The market is small, but has more than enough to offer something...More

Stanley markets are an easy half hour double decker bus ride from “D” Exit at IFC near Central station on HKI. Go there for something to do with the family and have lunch at one of the many cafes or pubs. Really good Sunday activity....More

We had heard about the market and thought that we would give it a try, however it was quite small and lacked the atmosphere of other markets in HK. However if you want a quiet(ish) market experience this would be fine.

I also don't know. At least it didn't catch my attention. It could be not since I can't remember any store with office supply. Sorry

Some do but I would bring HK cash also. Stanley Market was way over hyped. The Women's Market is much better.

it's a market with different small shops, normally close around sunset. so I would stay don't arrive there later than 4pm. not much there after dark, apart from bars, shopping in the mall and restaurants.
