This Tin Hau Temple in Stanley (there are several on Hong Kong Island) is located just off the commercial areas of Stanley Plaza and the boardwalk. A visit takes one back to older times when fishermen would head out to sea from Stanley but not...More

This temple is literally right in the middle of the plaza, so it is one of the first things you will see. It is a typical Buddhist temple, but it is unique in the sense that it is right in the middle of the bustle...More

This is adjacent to the shopping area and although in plan view can be easily overlooked. It is definitely worth a few minutes to stop in and have a look if you are already in the area.

While shopping in Stanley I stopped in this temple for a quick visit. The people were friendly and the story posted outside was very interesting. Be sure to check out the special tree outside too!! (A miracle occurred there.)

One of the things to do in Hong Kong is to go to Stanley. While there you can visit the temple. It is rather small compared to other temples, but it is one of the many things you can do when you visit the waterfront...More
