Dont bother going unless you are willing to pay a fortune or do alot of bargaining. Biggest rip off ever. Very disappointed.

I've been to this place many times for dinner and usually I leave with a resolution not to return unless visiting guests insist to come. My recent visit on a Sunday afternoon changed my view as I thoroughly enjoyed the visit and also I ate in a restaurant which was bright, airy and clean and has an open sea view.... More

Personally, I feel the price of the seafood restaurants expensive so we didn't try any seafood while in Lei Yue Mun. Apart from the seafood restaurants, it has a promenade, good for some good photo shots. A market nearby but we didn't go to the market. How we get there: Get off at Kwun Tong MTR station Cut through the... More

Our Hong Kong friends took us to Lei Yue Mun for fresh seafood & it was this village that we could pick & choose our live fish, prawns, lobsters, sea shells & they were all fresh & swimming.in the water tank. I spoke to the restuarant owner & he said their stocks were brought in fresh daily. We really enjoyed... More

We love fish markets with a wide choice of exotic (for us) fish and seafood. We went to Lei Yue Mun seafood market for a late lunch. The place was almost without customers. We were told that it is very different in peak lunch or dining hours. I couldn't remember to see so many different sea species on one place.... More

Only the seafood restaurant owners there would rave about this place. Tourists are perfect for ripoff. The government needs to do some serious cleaning up of the rubbish piling up there as well. God bless Hong Kong tourism.

Our HK friends brought us here as we wanted to try a local seafood restaurant, and dont remember reading about this place. We went for dinner at about 7pm on a sunday night and there was a long queue of cars snaking towards the carpark. There are many vendors selling live seafood here. You pick and choose your seafood which... More

My fiancé took me here on our tour of Hong Kong. Probably best to navigate with a local. If you’re adventurous and can patiently work with the locals this can be an incredible dining experience. We started by picking our live seafood from a stall vendor. We chose a 2lb lobster, 2 large Mantis Shrimp, 6 prawns, 2 giant scallops... More

Some of the best sea food in the world... just, you need to go with a local person that frequents those restaurants. If you are not with a local person, then you better be very knowledgeable about sea food, or you will likely get inferior food at higher prices, and your experience will not be as wonderful as ours. Me... More

Dont even bother to go to this place. Far, horrible, no one single rest that look appealing. Total waste of time
