An oasis from the crowds. A true insight of Chinese culture. Visited 3 times on a 4 day stop over and saw something different every time. Martial arts being practised along side Tai Chi, a group of people singing and people meditating.

This is a place that we didn't expect to see in Hong Kong as it was like a hidden germ of its own. Parks and the various building and historical information were really an interesting thing to see and experience in this part of the world. It will suit someone who likes to see some traditional Chinese architectural designs and... More

The landscape of the park is very beautiful. In terms of history, nothing much is left here since most of the things that used to be here were gone to be replaced by the park itself.

To see this beautiful park now and read about the history of its former status is a remarkable story. Bearing in mind it was a relatively short time ago that the "city" was demolished the transformation to its current state shows a marvellous vision and desire to forget its former self. Try and see it on a sunny day and... More

Interesting history and a beautiful place to visit. Calm and serene in an otherwise frantic place. Take a couple of hours to fully do it justice.

We really enjoyed our visit to this park. it is a most serene place to visit and is kept wonderfully well. If our trip would have been longer, we would have visited again and will certainly do so when we return to HK

This is an amazing park. It's not exactly easy to find and it's sort of off the beaten path even from the MTR or bus. However, it's well worth going to. Don't get it confused with the recreation park next door though! This is well worth a trip, in my opinion!

To reach there, take the MTR to Lok Fu and either walk there or take a short taxi ride. Just note the hilly terrain. This area is spacious and is a classical local housing estate. Somehow, there is a taxi resting point at this location, so don't attempt to ask for service. Formerly, a sleazy area, it is now a... More

Love the Thai food and local culture. When i think of the walled city i think of thai food. This area over the years has become a large Thai community and there are many local great Thai food hole in the wall places. The smaller the better usually. The bigger glitzy restaurants are the local tourist t traps, still good... More
