We took a bus number 260 (an express bus) from Exchange Square building (near MTR Hong Kong) and it took approximately twenty minutes. Then you find Deep Water Bay along with many luxurious residences. The view is amazing. By the time we were there, it was sunset and it was really beautiful. To escape the bustling city life, just go... More

It is such a leisure and beautiful walk along two beaches in the southern area of Hong Kong Island. Mills and Chung Path that leads to Deep Water Bay locates at the right hand side of Hong Kong Country Club. At the entrance of the HK country Club, follow the Island Road for 1 min and you will find the... More

Visited this fantastic beach today with our young daughters. The beach is easily accessed via the 6X bus from Wan Chai. There is a bus stop right next to the beach. Buses are approximately every 15 minutes. The water was warm (29°c), calm and appeared very clean. There is also a shark net. The water is patrolled by many lifeguards... More

We decided to stop off at this beach as it looked quieter than the one at Repulse. Easily reached by busses. Clean and the water was very inviting in the summer heat. 4 lifeguard towers plus 2 more out on the water, felt very safe. Left our belongings on the beach whilst we went into the water kept within view... More

This beach in Hong Kong Island is the nearest in Central if I may guess because if you ride the 6x bus from IFC Mall Termunus, this is the first beach you will see. It is public and anyone can come. So enjoy 😊😊😊

Coming from Ocean Park and Shouson Hill, this is the first of a few nice beaches which you can access by a walkway. It's usually spotless, and so are the facilities (above all toilets). Go during a weekday, and you will find the beach pretty much empty. Nice to spend an hour or two there, even in winter when the... More

If you can, you should definitely visit this part of Hong Kong, it's part of a sequence of beaches that are all connected via a walkway beginning at Deep Water Bay. It is so picturesque here make sure you have your camera with you.

Not only was the beach spotless but so were the toilets and showers. We were the only people on the beach at time, no touristy shops and loved it. The idea of a Shark net terrified me but I suppose at least its there!
