Fortunately we visited this temple before we got all "templed out" so we thoroughly enjoyed it. So worth the climb up all the stairs to see this truly beautiful place. The incense is a nice gesture and the views are great. We actually ate at...More

This temple is amazing. The path of stairs that take you from bottom to the top is great. At each stop you can take some great pictures and enjoy the scenery. Also, at the entrance you get scented sticks which can be lighted up.

We visited on new years day when it was crazy busy! So it was hard to experience the atmosphere, but still a beautiful place. Reasonable entry fee with incense sticks... never found the restaurant but perhaps it was closed due to the time of year?

Every year in March/April, the cherry blossoms bloom and this is one of the busiest streets in Nanjing. Great place for photographers to hang out during this time, you'll get some amazing shots. I suggest getting there early to avoid the hordes of people if...More

From the nearest subway exit, itsa bit disorienting, and might be a challenge to find. But just ask directions, and brace a bit of a walk. The temple is fairly affordable, plus they give you joss sticks for your prayers. There is a food stall...More

Not the biggest temple and a great place to visit in Nanjing. From the temple you can pay extra to walk the wall over looking Xuanwu lake. At festival times the temple is full of locals in prayer.

I loved visiting this temple as it was so authentic but a little more modern. My favorite part was that they gave us incense sticks that came with the entrance fee and that there were real monks walking around practicing. Good authentic experience with plenty...More

The vegetarian restaurant at the temple is the main reason to visit Jiming temple. "Meat" and "fish" dishes are tasty and affordable. Down to earth and porkpular with locals. A picture menu with English text makes ordering easy.
