If you wish to know about the the chinese civilization and culture, then you must visit this place. The artefacts in this museum are a source for colossal knowledge for generations to come.

I spent 1-2 hours looking around this wonderful museum which told me a great deal of useful information on Chinese civilization. Well worth a visit.

Best place to learn for Chinese culture and history of Nanjing city. Better to be with some chinese people or guide to learn about all the monuments

We went on a rainy day, thinking it would be nice to let the children see the place. The children were bored. And moving from one hall to another, we got wet. The grounds were slippery.

The museum has recently been moved to a palace, and is very well laid out. The exhibits are of good quality and well marked. Definitely worth the time!
