Surprised at how well curated the collections are now. Interesting survey of various periods in Indonesia's history as seen thru art. Really liked the Majapahit era pottery.

The building is magnificent and some of the pieces are really interesting but like the National Museum, a major renovation is required. Save your IDR 5,000 (US 30cents) and buy an ice cream because this display is woeful.

Its a building facing the fatahilla square known as museum Seni Rupa Dan Keramik. Open 9.00 to 15.00 tuesday through sunday and entry charge of 5000 IDR. There are many exhibits of ceramics and clay but poorly managed.
