This is the oldest church in Jakarta. Located next to the museum, it is very easy to find and thus gets a lot of tourist visiting this. The inside of the church has many architectural beauty. Good to see on a Sunday morning.

Immanuel church was built in the 1830s. Its circular form is loosely inspired by the Pantheon in Rome. The church is one of Jakarta's most stylish Dutch colonial buildings and is open most days.

It is so difficult to feel medieval sense at Jakarta but when you visit Immanuel Church, you will find the answer. This church has been maintained the medieval feeling during long times.
