The National monument is another must see place in Jakarta. It is very easily accessible and a delight to see. Recommended for tours and people of all age groups

Good place to refresh. But need to be ready to walk in distance. Wear a comfortable shoes. Also can go into the museum inside Monas and to the upper terace of Monas.

actually all gates are open but only 1 open for vehicle, so it's for parking area for the gates very close to gambir is always close this gate is the one which facing into US embassy but all other 3 gates are always open... More

If you wait for the little transportation bus they have when you enter; it will take you directly to where you have to enter. Great place to go to see and read about Indonesian history and it's struggle for independence.
