We visited pasar mayestik when we had our layover in jakarta...it was quite a good place to do some shopping...clothes,scarfs,indonesian batik,household pdts and a lot of shops selling fabrics outside the mall...and it was not really crowded..

A good place to come to get your textile such as lace, cotton, chiffon etc. There's a mall in the middle and outside the mall are the textile store. There are plenty of stores and the selection and price may varies.

If you are looking for fabrics this is the place to go.its a fabric heaven all kinds of fabrics is available here and the price is reasonable too.recommended shop to go is FANCY.great customer service and so more latest variety of fabrics to choose. I will definitly recommend and to return to shop again here.

You can bargain at this place. I see, now, quite foreigner come here to buy Palembang Mattress, and some fabric. If you would do groceries sightseeing with aircon. Come to visit the basement. Imho, this is one of first revitalization market from traditional in jakarta. Do not forget to taste traditional cakes or kebab which is really tasty.

Looking for cheap laceand/or materials in general? Head here although it may be a way off the general tourist track in Jakarta... The shops to head to are the ones by the roadside, outside the mall... Just tell the taxi driver you want to head to Pasar Mayestic at Kebayoran, and they will know exactly where to drop you... Shops... More

This is a Traditional Market locate at South Part of Jakarta. Famous Market in Jakarta for selling many Stuff. The fun part here is we can do bargain with the seller. This is not a shopping mall, this is traditional market style manage by modern management by Jakarta government. You can find almost everything in this market. Fresh vegetables, fresh meat, fresh fish, street food, clothes etc. good price, after you bargain for it of course...
