Actually nothing much here.. you can find shops selling textiles, shoes, and a mall selling hair care products (wholesale) other than that nothing. Food nothing much here.. I was told it just used to be good and an attraction before but not now.

If you want to search a new shoes with low price, you can go there. Many store of textile in here, recommended place. And you can go to GOLO GOLO *lol*

I visited Pasar Baru many times. In fact I have my personal tailor there. I also buy fabric for my wife and daughter. Great selelction of different quality and price.

This is a fun marketplace located in central Jakarta. There are nice food stalls and numerous other shops selling clothes and other trinkets. Remember to bargain very hard!

Every time I walked through (my hotel was just down the street) it was open during the day, but most stores were closed before dark. Dark was around 700pm (April).
