Formely you could also buy local souvenirs in Pasaraya, but it closed. Now Sarina has the best selection to my knowledge.

Stuff for after going to the tailor and found great souvenirs, the fourth floor of batik everything and cool T-shirts for family. The batik eyeglass case was about $3. Also had Polo brand shirts and other name brands.

This place is selling complete collections of Indonesian traditional craft. But the price is not cheap for local tourist.

I visited Sarinah Thamrin Plazaal several times during my visits to Jakarta but most I concentrate on r clothes , once I bought a suite with 200 usd while real rate before discount is 500usd . it was a pierre cardin model
