My friends, who were locals, brought me to this heritage center. I was blown away with what I saw! I thought it deserved more than the PHP 50.00 donation that we gave as entrance fee. For one, the layout was well planned and strategically arranged. The museum displays was also interactive and used modern technology like videos and holograms as... More

One starts off with viewing 2 videos, one about the beauty of Palawan Island and a short 3 minute documentary on the cave dwellers in the southern part of the island. The friendly and knowledgeable staff will give you a tour of the exhibits, mainly ethnological in nature about the handicrafts made on the island the villagers. A great introduction... More

A 'must visit' when you are in Puerto Princesa. Our expectations of the Heritage Center were exceeded. The guides are knowledgable and proud of their province's history and culture. They are extremely well spoken and happy to let you browse the artefacts in your own time. They might not be able to answer all of your questions but they are... More

The Palaweño tour guides are very proud of their heritage and they are well informed. They communicate well and were very friendly. The place is nice but needs a little rehabilitation. The place looks so dark in some areas. I highly recommend this to know more about Palawan.

This is a small but varied exhibit with personal guided tours & not expensive. Not too much to see, but local art was nice & the archeology things of interest...

We learned a lot about Palawan and the people that resided here over the years. Lots of history with wars and how this island was a strategic area for militants fighting for its valuable location.

Under-rated activity by Lonely Planet : if you'd like to get insights about Palawan island and tribes, that is the place to go ! Very charming staff guides you (volontarily) through-out the museum and explains the history and anecdotes of the island and its inhabitants. Learned there about the Palaweno Brewery (worth the detour !) Authentic visit.
