We visited the Bohol habitat conservation center on the way back from the chocolate hills. I didn't expect much it was 45 peso entry (which I don't think is much for the experience). We had a fun and helpful guide who showed us around as part of the entry fee. He informed us on the butterfly life cycle and showed... More

There was small numbers of butterflies and only 2 types of dried ones. The guide tried to explain the life cycle of the buttetfly but there were other groups which made it difficult to hear anything. The interesting thing was the caterpillar which the guide put in his hand and some flowers. Good if you have time to spear

That Php 45 entrance fee is a bit too much for this simple experience: touching caterpillars, seeing cocoons and butterflies, and a photo with butterfly wings.

It was not an ordinary butterfly viewing experience. When we were ushered inside, there was a guide assigned to us who made the tour fun and educational at the same time. He walked us through the process of butterfly creation, from being a pupa to a full-grown one. He was engaging and patient with us, and also helpful in taking... More

The tour guide reviewed us on the life cycle of a butterfly which was taught to us when we were in elementary. It was so fun to play with the butterfly and eat toasted meal worm at the exit.

Location - Can easily be seen since along the road Price - Entrance fee is Php 45 per head Facilities - Area is quite small compared to other butterfly gardens. Species of butterflies were not that many. However, their tour guides were so jolly, interactive, and great picture takers! Especially on that one area where they'll make you stand and... More

We already knew that there were not going to be too many butterflies flying around as we were there almost at lunchtime and butterflies are active early in the morning, but we were still in for a fun experience. Our guide was the one who made it worthwhile. He was quite fun and funny, always ready with a pun. He... More
