We travelled by rental motorbike and it was a long way. There are however many tours available but apologies maybe its just me, it was OK but not worth it. If you've been to any scenic locations here or elsewhere in the world you probably wouldn't rate these. Loved the welcome sign. It was so old and in need of... More

One of the main attractions of the land tour in Bohol. Good for a few photos after a climb up a long staircase. No need to spend too much time there.

Seeing the chocolate hills from the lookout tower is a nice experience as this is a unique landscape. If you are in Bohol this is a must see. I would not however recommend the atv/quad bike tour to see the hills. This just takes you on a road that you could easily drive or even walk down and you see... More

Really nice place. Easiy accessible by bus or motorbike. Recommendation: Try the CHAP = Chocolate Hills Adventure Park with a bicycle zip-line!

Cool to check out while on Bohol, but not as exciting as I thought it would be. We only were able to view them from an observation deck. I kind of thought we would be just out in the Chocolate Hills. We could have rented an ATV and gone on a tour through the Chocolate Hills, but it seemed quite... More

It is a bit disappointment during winter time since it is cloudy and difficult to visualize the whole area. It is very crowded! You will need to climb up about 200 steps to be able to see the whole area. It probably is better during summer time when all the hills are brownish/yellowish! If you don't have a lot of... More

I read previous reviews when planning this trip and expected loads of scaffolding barriers etc but the work in the main viewing area is mostly done, needs a bit of tidying up but all temporary barriers have gone. It is a fair climb to the top but I think most people would achieve it just do it at your speed,... More

Some said that there are tarp background for photo op sessions of the Chocolate Hills. Oh they were so wrong! We went here last September 2016 and they were as green as ever (they become "chocolate" during the hot summer months), and there were no signs of a makeshift pictorial backdrop. The Chocolate Hills are just as perfect as you... More

We went in November, rainy season, so the hills are green and not dried grass or chocolate coloured. The walk up to the main viewing area is up over 200 concrete steps, so be prepared.... wear sensible shoes! Half an hour with the camera is enough...you are at the highest point of the surrounding hills so this is the only... More
