It is worth a visit only if you are a real butterfly lover. Though there a few great specimens i was not particularly enthused.

The ticket is quite expensive and it is not at all worth that much money.. it is better to try other things in sentosa island than this one,

Animals are dead or dying. Old attraction. Dusty, worn. People ask paying for a picture... Don't stop here. Keep your money

Butterfly Park is located in Sentosa Island. If you come by MRT, get down at Harbour front station and get to the third level of Vivo City Shoppoing Mall, from where you will get the Sentosa Express train. Alight at Imbiah station and the park is close by. You can also board the Blue or Red Line bus and get... More

This enclosure is in need of a revamp, very old and tired looking. Not as many butterflies as we expected. The live insect display cabinets were in the same condition. However, there were many framed dead butterflies and insects on display. Staff were very forthcoming in approaching you with the offer to hold a butterfly, which was a positive.

But if you are interested in insects this is fun. An advantage is that on an island full of people this place is not crowded and let's you breathe for a while.

Although it took us some time to reach this attraction, it was quite good for those who are keen on looking at butterflies. The display is quite unique with hundreds of varieties on display

I can only assume the Butterfly's were asleep when we got they, as I could only find one live one. Once you go through the enclosure there is a myriad of dead Butterfly's on display. Only go if your a butterfly/insect nut.

My favourites were the live leaf and stick insects. There are insect and butterfly specimens in the park but I could not find many live butterflys during the time I went (could be due to the season). There are some birds in the park too and they can be very cheeky.
