We went to the visitor centre first, and collected a guide to the Museum, and also a free booklet about the history of Kampong Glam. Very interesting. Our concession entry tickets cost $4 each - less than a cup of coffee! We enjoyed the stories...More

Asmall museum well worth a visit when in the area, probably not with young children. The Malay contribution to Singapore is impressive from a time well before European interests in the area.

Not much to see and if going with kids, skip this place. Too boring. Ended up looking at this whole place in less than 30 mins. The sultan house damn nice, that's about it.

It is always fascinating to learn of our Singapore history and the Malay heritage. Well worth the walk around the historical Istana Kampong Glam and the beautiful garden. The current exhibition on the Bugis was all very interesting.

We are located at Bt Timah Road, Singapore, not in Malaysia. And we like to know if you are open on Monday. Thank you.
