Used this ferry terminal to go to Bintan after arriving at Changi Airport. It was a short taxi ride that took only 10 minutes from the Airport. The terminal has a few places where you can buy food and supplies. The shop right at the entrance selling pastries was very good. On the return trip we had to wait 15... More

I would normally would not bother to review a ferry terminal but for Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, I felt that I had to commend them for a job well done. The staff there were efficient, approachable and helpful. Check-in was a breeze and all our questions were answered fast and accurately. There were terminal officers around who approached us to... Great travel to Batam, back into Singapore, you have to wait minimum 1 hour to get through the passport control. Many "workers" are simply doing nothing and it was a bad experience. So when coming from Batam, make sure you plan ahead is this is a bottleneck during your travels.

The staff in the terminal are very helpful and friendly, the only thing that I don't like is they restrict the time to go through immigration. The emerald lounge is behind the immigration, we arrive early and want to stay in the lounge, but immigration staff didn't allow us to go through as it has to be only available during... More

We were traveling mid week so doubtless did not experience the crowds others have reported. This is not an airport terminal so do lot expect to find somewhere to stop for a nice lunch. It is quick, efficient and painless. We took advice of other travelers and pre-booked a car to take us to or next destination which was a... More

I often travel to TMFT for the purpose of both business and leisure. Immigration officers are very kind and helpful. It is very efficient ferry terminal and pleasant experience everytime I pass by.

I booked the 0910 to Bintan BBT and got there about an hour and half before we set sail. A lot busier than I thought but everyone helpful to me. Tip Get in the queue early to ensure a seat on the ferry where you want to sit, the queue at Bintan for customs was quite long. My tip! It... More

Efficient as other things in Singapore. Clean and adequate signage. It has a money changer and minimart and few other F&B shops after immigration. Only downside is getting Taxi from there once you arrive. With you are 100 other people and no Taxi in sight, only occassional ones who comes to drop passengers. Even difficult to get Grab Taxi or...
