You can spend your afternoon relaxing at the Marina Bay overlooking the Merlion Park or head first to the Flower Dome or Cloud Forest to cool down while enjoying the scenery of flowers (Flower Dome) and of course the miniature forest (Cloud Forest) while waiting for sun down to visit the Supertree Grove. These tourist attractions are very accessible through... More

Allow plenty of time to visit this area, there is so much to see. it is good to visit on a rainy day as 2 of the domes are covered. The creative design is spectacular and the gardens are incredible. The Cloud dome is damp and can be wet, the flower dome is cooler so you may need a sweater.

You wil be able to visit the flower dome and the cloud forest as a combo .and purchase a separate ticket to go on the sky bridge . Those are bridges linking the vertical garden. Man made but very impressive and ingenious idea . Watch the light at night it's magical .

A must visit if you are in Singapore. External gardens are vast and sprawling and free. Domes are worth visiting too though you must pay.Come at night and see the light show.

Well worth the visit. Was really impressed with the Cloud Gardens and Flower Dome. Beautiful spot. Not too busy and the views around the bay are fantastic.

I'm not sure if there are usually pretty lights and displays as we visited in December and there were Christmas-themed lights. The gardens themselves were nice. Tip: take an extra layer to wear as it is quite cold compared to outside.

This place already looked amazing, but at Christmas time it is something else – lights everywhere, music, beer. Highly recommended for kids.

Gardens by the bay is a real must do. We went during the day and then again in the evening for the light show. Really really good.

Went to see this magnificent attraction. I can only say this. If you are in Singapore - you must go to see this especially at night. We loved it. Amazing waterfalls, walkways and so many incredible plants and things to see. Cost us $40 each to see both dines, the high walks and the Christmas lights. Worth every penny. Enjoy?

Make sure you have enough time to enjoy everything - at least 1/2 day to see this beautiful place - it is not to be missed if you are in Singapore

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
