We alighted from the circle line and followed the signage to gardens by the bay. While here we stayed in the free area and took in the displays. There is a very interesting statue of a baby cantilevered off one arm as if floating in...More
Superb indoor cloud forest and flower dome - 2 separate indoor exhibits - just fantastic. For the nature lover - you could spend hours and enjoy it. For the casual tourist - you could spend hours (or as little as 2 hours) and enjoy it....More
What an excellent facility so beautifully laid out and very interesting. Good variety of food outlets on offer.
Very efficient and friendly staff are available to help.
One tip if you want to see a light show please arrive at least 40 minutes before the...More
We first did the tour for 8 dollars on the bus and this wasn’t worth it, we could have walked the park or even taken the wee but that took you around without the audio tour but we didn’t know this as wasn’t explained, thought...More
If you don't want to spend too much, go for the light show at 7:45pm and 8:45pm. So worth the wait. It doesn't get too crowded and there's plenty of space to be awed by the show. Best to watch from the ground then pay...More
Were in Singapore for NYE and wanted to do Gardens by the Bay, and opted for a night visit, which is when it is most beautiful. We didn't buy tickets in advance and had no problems. Unfortunately we waited until after dinner and didn't realize...More
Go at night. We didn't get to see the light show (I believe there are 2 shows per evening) but even just walking around and seeing the place lit up is great.
Added bonus is that this place was one of the sights featured in...More
Spent a few hours here wandering around and using the very cheap shuttle bus. Meandering through an array of plants and trees in this city was delightful. After dark the giant supertrees come to life all lit up with a musical soundtrack to accompany the...More

So we only went for two nights with our kids. Singapore is so expensive so it was hard to find budget hotels. What I did was book a room at the hostel The Bohemian in Chinatown. Great little place super friendly and we all slept in bunk beds! Lol adventure! Then I booked one night to stay at the incredible and iconic Marina Bay Sands. Your kids will love you! Lol. The infinity pool is beyond words. Very family friendly. And right next to the gardens. We walked from the hotel. It was a memory that will last forever.
I don’t know much about other places but that’s how we made do. :)
I didn’t notice any transportation at both places. There is a lot of walking involved. It should be wheel chair accessible but you will need to bring your own wheel chairs as I did not notice any places to hire.
