The positive points of NUS Museum are (1) it's free, (2) beautiful building & interior (3) nice collection of arts, ceramics and, (4) just across from Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum so you can do both in a single half-day with time to spare. Now for my main grouse - why is the 'NUS Museum' not about the history... More

I stumbled into the museum by mistake, but found a hidden gem of Chinese art on display. I found time to see this amazing display while at a workshop at the university. Ask around for directions to this museum.

This museum in free of charge. The collection of this museum is wonderful. I visited this place when they had exhibition about Vietnam and I had a chance to attend the talk. Nice place

Their museum is nice, there are 3 floors of exhibits. It is mostly Chinese art and Chinese artifacts, the displays are well laid out with lots of space for viewing. Probably not geared to younger children's liking. There is no charge for the museum, and campus is really nice also. There is a small cafe in the building behind the... More

The museum has 3 levels: the first has temporary exhibitions - this time a Malayan contemporary art exhibition, the second is an ancient Chinese pottery exhibition - the most interesting, with many really ancient and excellent pieces and the third with a famous Singaporean sculpture that has many sculptures, paintings and ceramics by the same artisit.
