Took my kids here for the playground and thought the gardens and facilities were really beautiful. Many different themes to the gardens, from English to Balinese but all very lovely. The playground was good, better suited to the 3-8 year olds. Butterflies and flowers everywhere.

Was nice in the rain but a lot better in the dry. Lots of neat gardening ideas to look at and some gorgeous plants, including orchids. Vegetable areas and indoor gardening ideas can be found in this lovely free garden. Perfect picnic area or start to a walk from here to Mt Faber.

Great area to wander and enjoy the tranquility of the gardens that also leads on to the Forest Walk.

I didn't know this place existed until reading the local paper one day. It's now become one of my favourite gardens of all time around the world! Filled with plants, sculptures, water features, inspiration boards, community garden plots and plenty of shady spots to contemplate the view or soak up the serenity. You'd never know you were in the middle... More

Good idea to spend late afternoon by walking above the trees some 3 kilometres from Hort Park to Mt. Faber, have resfreshments there and after that take a cable car to Sentosa. You get a totally different angle to Singapore.

One of the best gardens in Singapore. You will definitely enjoy spending time there as it is a real gem in stone city jungles.

Visited for the first time after finished walking the southern ridge. Was surprise there is such a beautiful park and it's free. The place was very educational and extremely well maintained. For those whom wants to visit, I suggest early mornings or late evenings cos it's hot. It's also a good place for children as they hv lots of programs... More

Hort Park is a collection of theme gardens that is part of a long chain of interconnecting parks along Singapore's Southern Ridges. The various gardens include a floral walk, vertical greenery, aqua phonics, espalier gardens, native garden and kitchen garden. Hort Park has some slopes, but is an east stroll from one end to the other. Along the way you... More

We had our office function at the hort park and it was good. There was a field next to the air conditioned hall which enabled games to be played. Nice place for treasure hunt around the park. Some trees along the footpaths to provide shades in hot sunny afternoons. Minus point is that We were only allowed to use their... More

Beautiful sculpted gardens with a lovely restaurant called "The Vineyard" which is usually very busy, especially at weekends. Worth a visit to escape the busy city - calms the mind and restores equilibrium.
