Took my 5 year old to the science center. He absolutely loved it. There are people at the front who try to sell you the yearly ticket, i would suggest that see it first and then decide for the annual pass.

You must but you should have at least 4-5 hours to justify the visit. Being lone traveller it makes all the more sense to go on your own pace condition is that you should have liking for miracles of science.
