The view over the Padang makes one feel at home. Even though it is situated in the midst of the CBD, there is a great view overlooking the Padang. Watching people playing cricket or other school activities is a good way to relieve stress after...More

On one side of the padang this is a charming old building. You feel comfortable and at home. It is pleasant to meet friends for a drink or dine there.

Was there twice for different reasons, and the food and beverage quality there is excellent! Love their menu and good quality of dishes served (even when its a wedding banquet!) and the mulligatawny soup has to be, undisputedly, the best in Singapore.

Maybe for the view on a lazy Sunday afternoon but don't go for the food. Tired looking restaurant and sub-quality food.

Its old fashioned but newly refurbished - still has alot of "old" traditions including a "men's bar" where no ladies are allowed (in this day & age !!) but the ambience is nice and the food/drinks are quite good and reasonably priced. But you must...More

With the sporting history of this club and the good value and fine tasting food menu I would recommend this as a great place to visit for a spot of lunch. Visited by greats such as beefy Botham there are stories on every wall allowing...More

This is the oldest social club in Singapore located at the Padang. Easily accessible from Raffles Place and City Hall. You need to be a member first though before you can make use of the club's facilities.
