Place is worth seeing for its vibe and atmosphere however prices are way too high - we have paid close to 100 usd for satays and prawn - they were ok but not for that kind of money. Beer is 20 sgd per jug.

If you like satay you will love this and it's cheap. There couldn't be a more descriptive name for an area than Satay street. There is rice, rice cakes,spring rolls and vegetables but the rest is Satay. Every meat or fish you could think of....More

A great spot to head for if you are after satays. It's a bustling, lively, smokey place with fast, efficient service and a wonderful Singapore experience. We really enjoyed our food and experience.

If you are talking about the one in the business district, Lau pa sat it opens after 7pm and goes till very late. They close the street and then start trading.
