The Lagoon on our ranch, Bluff Cove, is home to 3,000 Gentoo Penguins, a growing colony of King Penguins, and an abundance of other spectacular wildlife on a beautiful wilderness beach only reached by our 4x4 vehicles. Home-baking and delicious local flavours are served with live music in the Sea Cabbage Café. The Museum tells the story of Bluff Cove. Our award winning tour is a fabulous combination of Falkland wildlife, heritage and hospitality.

When you visit the Falkland Islands, you must ‘do’ penguins. There are many different kinds of penguin; some are native to here, while others are occasional visitors. We sawGentoo and King Penguins, all huddled together with their chicks at a place called Bluff Cove. It's...More

Lovely environment, very welcoming people. We loved our experience and the fact that the penguins are in there natural habitat. We were on a cruise and we booked it way in advance through our cruise excursion service. It is pricy, but it's totally worth it....More

See the penguins. Stop at Bluff Cove. Simple. Nice restaurant. My wife bought a magnificent pillow in the gift shop. Be sure to check out their goods. We love the pillow with a penguin on front.

Never in a million year would we have thought we'd be so close to penguins. They are truly a magnificent creature. The tour takes about three hours. You are driven by minivan for 20 minutes to the farm where you will board a 4 X4...More

After landing at Stanley we were picked up for a half day tour to Bluff Cove. The directing of hundreds of cruise passengers to their appointed vehicles was extremely professional, never seen it happen like this in other ports. Well done. Bluff Cove was a...More

Booked a 3.5 hour tour through Holland America on our cruise ship to visit the Bluff Cove Penguins & were not disappointed. From the time Jason, the driver, who was originally from England & was a bundle of information, collected us in a mini van...More

We took this excursion as part of our cruise. The organisation was very efficient and our driver, Eric, who drove the Landrover cross country regaled us with hugely entertaining anecdotes about life in the Falklands including the Argentine occupation. The penguin colony was as good...More

Visited penguins at Bluff Cove and it was an unfettered way to observe them in a natural setting. It was more interesting since they did not follow the rules and went outside the flags to visit us. Thoroughly enjoyed the Cafe and the 4x4 ride.

If you are ever in the Falklands don't miss the opportunity to get out to Bluff Cove. We did it as part of a 4wd tour when on a Hurtigruten Antarctic Cruise. It was Geological tour and worth every cent. Just wonderful. The wildlife, the...More

Yes, you can book through your Cruise Line. If they haven't got it on their itinerary, ask why not? Brilliant trip.

The 4X4 portion of the trip to Bluff Cove Lagoon is about 10 minutes long and can be rather bumpy. There is no road across the peat bog. However, it was not unpleasant. Our driver tried to avoid the really rough spots.
