This is a nice memorial to those who died in the 74 day war between Argentina and the British in 1982. It is close to the pier and easy to walk to.

The Liberation Memorial Monument is erected on Ross Road in Stanley to mark the sorrow in WW1. The monument is very important to the locals and worth to visit the place during your visit in Stanley.

Quite an emotional experience visiting the memorial, many brave service personnel lost their lives and its very sad to see all their names but the memorial ensures they will never be forgotten. Great experience, will remember it with pride

Looks amazing against the dramatic background of the sea and hills. Well tended and fantastic with the 100 years memorial soldier and poppy wreaths.

The monument that commemorates the end of a tragic and stupid war. So sad that anyone had to die over ridiculous invasion and that the local people had to suffer.
