Beautiful 5-7 hours trek in the middle of forest full of araucarias and beautiful views. If you go, try to arrive early and to the complete circuit (7-8 hours for experienced hikers).

A great place to go for a hike on a day in Pucon. There was no climbing up the volcano we went so it was pretty busy but the walk is long enough to still feel alone. The bus from town was very easy leaving...More

Had an awesome walk to the blue lake on a recent trip to Chile. Walk is fairly easy and swim at the end is definitely worthwhile.

We are planning to do the San Sebastián trail in January. Does this trail cover the lakes, or are they in a different direction? Is it worth doing both (over 2 days)? We will have a car and staying near the park, so can do 2 days if it will allow us to cover different areas with different views and scenery.

We just took the main trail from the beginning of the park entrance, where the bus drops you off. We went through the entire trail, up to the lakes above, and it was awesome. I honestly can't remember the exact name of the... More

I know that there was a time when it was possible to fly to Pucón but for what I know that is not the case now. The best alternative is to fly to Temuco and then take a transfer to Pucón that is 90 minutes away.
