We took a "Free Tour" with Franco. It was wonderful. Group was about twenty, so it was important to stay within hearing distance of our guide. Very interesting with great insights in to Chilean history and development. Franco pointed out sights that would warrant more time as well as easy quick stop and tell. It was a 3 1/2 hour... More

We just did the tour with a guy named franco. It was a nice experience, the guy with a perfect English explained a lot of things about child that Europeans maybe do not know, in a very very funny way!!! Need to do it!

Informative and passionate guide, Franco, was amazing. He was knowledgeable as well as entertaining. He was inclusive of all guests on the tour as well as the additional dog that joined us named Gary. Smartest dog in Santiago! I would recommend this tour as a definite must when visiting the city. Thank you for inspiring us to learn more!!!!

Really great free walking tour of Santiago - we had Franco as our guide who was really knowledgeable and spoke great English. The tour leaves at 10am from Plaza des Armas and takes about 4 hours- which includes a stop for coffee or local beer and empanadas, finishing at the Pablo Neruda house. We saw a mix of sights from... This tour was really good. Our guide Franco started the tour with a good basic History of Santiago and continued to give little tidbits on history throughout the tour. It was better than I expected as I had done this tour in Madrid and thought it was ok in Madrid. Franco our guide was very fluent in English and funny.... More

We just did this tour with Guillermo as our guide. The tour itself is very interesting, with an historical overview of Santiago, but Guillermo certainly helped making the long walk so much more interesting and funny. The name "free" can be misleading since you're asked for a tip at the end, but we already knew it (did some of these... More

Really well organized city walking tour. 4 hours long starting at 3pm in placa des armas with a good combination of walk and rest. Our guide Omar was amazing: well prepared, enthusiastic and super energetic! Much recommended!

The free walking tour is time well spent to become grounded in the city lay-out, culture, and history. Franco was very informative. The information gathered in the tour was useful for then going back to visit places. I took Franco's guidance on a local restaurant (Galindo) in the Bella Vista area and end up returning a second time for lunch.... More
