Colin guided our group over the span of a week and we had amazing experience after amazing experience! Incredibly knowledgeable and personable, he consistently knocked it out of the park and blew away our expectations. Hiring Colin was easily the single best decision we made on our trip.

We (4 of us) met up with Colin at the Mercado Central and did a 3-hour food tour with him, starting with the market area. But then we left that area and tried a uniquely Chilean lunch, some unique ice cream, and finally a tapas of 4 different Chilean dishes. Included was some beer and wine. Colin was very knowledgable,... More

Eating our way through the markets with Colin was a highlight of my trip to Santiago. I often steer clear of street food on vacations, so this was a real treat to have an introduction to Chilean foods/beverages along the streets and in the markets, along with learning more about the history and culture. I highly recommend a tour with... More

Based on other reviews, we booked a group winery tour to the Casablanca Valley; it ended up just being my husband and I, so by luck we had a private tour. Regardless of size, it was an amazing day. Our driver, Marcelo, picked us up right on time, was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the valley, and Chile. We visited... More

Getting to know Chilean food while walking around Santiago was a great way to begin our trip! Colin is very knowledgeable and tons of fun. We tried sea food, stews, ice cream and more. We tasted wine and typical drinks we would not know they existed if we had not taken the tour. Highly recommended!

FoodyChile is great for English speakers wanting to get an idea of Chilean food and culture. Colin, our guide was informative and a native English speaker who has lived for many years in Santiago so the tour was easy and fun. We loved the finale of the tour, which was a food tasting with matched wines ( from the sea... More

Excellent! The guide could not have been better! Knowledge of Chile, the city, the markets and the friendly people who make it a joy to visit! The markets are alive with the people of Santiago. The foods sampled was all Chilean native foods, simple but, excellent . The seafood market food was my favorite and the pared wines the same.... More

Myself and 3 colleagues had one day free in Chile and I contacted Colin for a wine tour. We visited 3 great wineries and had a fabulous lunch in one. Colin was so knowledgeable and easy to get along with. We were so glad we picked Foody Chile for our trip

The walking market tour was excellent! Our guide, Kathy was so knowledgeable about food, the neighborhoods, and interspersed a bunch of facts/history about Santiago and Chile into the tour. I would recommend her and foodychile to everyone!

We did the afternoon walking tour and it was just perfect.. About 3 hours or so and it gave a great overview of the city, the foods and people. Because we were eating at dinner at the last stop, Colin the owner/guide changed the tour up for us and we hit a craft beer bar instead. That was so great... More
