Parque Arauco rivals the sister Costanera Center as an upscale shopping and dining destination in Santiago. A convenient pedestrian bridge (wheelchair accessible) crosses Av Kennedy (which is more of a highway than an avenue), which is great for people living or working on the opposite side to get to the mall. The halls are clean, the brands are represented well both on a global and local front, and signage inside the mall is adequate. Security is visible and effective.

However, two major issues bring my rating down to average. Firstly, the Wifi connection seems to require a Chilean number to connect, meaning that foreigners are unable to access Wifi, one of the most basic and necessary tools of the 21st century. Secondly, when dining at one of the delicious open-air venues outside (but attached to) the mall, I couldn’t figure out how to get back to the sidewalk of Av Kennedy as an electric wheelchair user when the actual mall building closed for the night. The signage, specifically here, wasn’t good. Eventually I found a way using the parking garage, but I mean…there’s got to be a better way. I just couldn’t find it.

I’m not in a rush to return, but do remember that this mall is clean, modern, and upscale. It makes for some high-quality shopping.

You could probably fine anything here. Many name brands and others new to us. Enjoyed walking and stopping for a snack before walking back to the doubletree Kennedy

This is probably the best modern shopping centre in Santiago. It has a good range of restaurants, with several serving local Chilean and Peruvian food in a nice environment. Lots of brand name clothing and several large department stores throughout. It is not particularly cheap, though. Money changer is on the ground floor and the information desk near the front entrance is very helpful. They helped us with the free Wifi. Most shop staff here speak English which is an advantage. It could be anywhere in the world - the only thing to remind you that you are in Chile is a small souvenir stall outside, near the main restaurants.

Great place to visit. Great shops and places to eat. You can find pretty much anything you’re looking for here and shops are very friendly to visit, even if just browsing.

A great shopping mall, much like a US one, with local department stores (Falabella, Ripley, Paris) and lots of international brands. A nice outdoor area with a great number of known restaurants to dine.

We walked through this mall a few times during a recent visit to Santiago. Parque Arauco is one of the largest shopping malls in Chile and is known for its uber-cool brands like Adidas, Louis Vuitton and Burberry among other retail giants. The mall also has huge variety to offer for foodies and accommodates some of the biggest food chains from around the world to fine restaurants which are perfect for a refreshing meal.
