Very busy place in the week end. Lots of pedestrians and bicycles. From the bottom to the top five kilometers. Excellent view of the city. You can have a picnic but no booze.

On a fine day you get a great view of Santiago and the Andes and can catch the Telefonica down through the valley

Our daughter took us up here last week. It's a steady climb which gets your heart working but worth the effort.

Located high on a hill over looking Santiago , a visit is well worth while just for the views. The surrounding area at the base is full of lovely eateries. The best way to the top is via the funicular (cable car) 2000 peso pp...More

Great place to calm down and see scenic perspective of Santiago. I recommend it if you are in Chile. It might inspire you and make you feel more calm. If you seek for a meditation that is a great place!!

It's very calming and relaxing place. Hill is ideal for walking, cycling and jogging. If you are lucky, and the sky is clear, you will see mountains covered with milky cape.

We were there in late morning but, considering the 360 degree view from the top, the sunrise should be nice IF the sky is clear, which is a very rare occasion in Santiago. It is not a climb but a nice walk uphill, on an... More

According to my experience, when it's smoggy, you better try on another day to have a view. Weekends are usually better as a lot of people leave Santiago.

The funicular is closed after 8pm so I'm not sure you will be able to get to the top. General advise is to visit during daylight hours and use the roads. This is still a hill with a lot of nature: you need to know where you... More
