This handicraft village is a great place to shop for traditional Chilean arts and crafts and one of the few places you might be able to bargain in Santiago.

Our guide took us to this former ranch to shop for handicrafts. We weren't too excited about it at first but soon were enchanted with their many tiny shops and good selection of souvenirs, large and small. They have good prices on their items but won't bargain -- don't try, at least with the shops we visited.

Excellent place to visit for all kinds of high end crafts at reasonable prices. The village itself is delightful and quite extensive. Plenty of shade, places to eat and good facilities. Spent two hours here, easily could have spent two more.

Beautiful, interesting, easy to park, found several wonderful crafts I brought back home. A small country town in the middle of the city.

We spent a couple of hours shopping at the Handicraft Village, and we were surprised by the number of shops and the relatively high quality of the goods in many of them. We also discovered, contrary to what is typical in Chile, that you can bargain on price, with the bargaining being for a discount on multiple items, or for... More

In late December 2016, my wife, my daughter, my grandchild and I took the Metro Line 1 to the last stop on the Metro line, Los Dominicos. After exiting the Metro we walked through a large park up the hill to a unique artesanal market to the right of the buildings at the top. My daughter, who lives in Santiago,... More

Los Dominicos has over 100 small handicraft shops, mainly modest jewelry, leather goods and wool. A quiet respite from the busy city, located at the end of the red metro line. An easy way to see the good Santiago subway system. Unfortunately, there was nothing that really caught our eye to buy.

This is a great craft village with shops that are above the average and are made by local craftsmen. The quality of the items here were better than we found at other craft malls in Santiago and the prices were very fair. Try to avoid going late on Sunday afternoon as some of the shops close up early or don't... More

Although not necessarily on all tourist itineraries in Santiago, this craft village in Las Condes is a gem, and deserves a few hours of browsing, even for a casual lunch. It is much larger than it looks, with passageways leading to areas hidden from view. The variety of crafts is also very large.

This is a great little raft village lots of items are handmade at the site by various different craftsmen. We found the prices to be quite fair. You can find quality items in every price range. There are also a couple of little restaurants in the pueblito if you get hungry.
