About
A boutique winery at the foot of Andes Mountain. Vina Aquitania is located approximately 35 minutes from Santiago's downtown, in the High Maipo Valley. This winery is oriented to produce wines of high quality in limited amounts. During the guided tours this small winery gives the opportunity to learn closely about the complete process of wine production, where the technology with artisan processes are mixed, like the labeling process that is handmade.

- Solataire42 contributionsGreat tour and great wine!Lovely vineyard which is easy to get to by Uber from Santiago - about half hour drive. Had a great English tour with Karin which included a tasting of some of their wines. I also wanted to try some of their other wines and was happy there was the option to buy by the glass. Was a lovely spot to enjoy some wine in the sunshine before heading back to the city. The Lazuli was absolutely delicious - looking forward to cracking open our bottle and the sparkling wine we brought home!Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten December 11, 2023
- EmilysEndeavoursMelbourne, Australia21 contributionsA beautiful winery all around! We booked a last minute English speaking 10am tour, and ended up being the only two on the tour. It was an amazing experience - Karin was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable and friendly! The wines were delicious and the property is beautiful! Would highly recommend, we had the best time.Visited January 2024Travelled with friendsWritten January 24, 2024
- Ahoy0323Hampton Bays, New York2 contributionsDo this tour!I’ve been on lots of wine tours before but this one was by far my favorite. It was a very intimate and informative tour. Our tour guide, Valentina, was amazing - she spoke great english and gave us such a nice tour of the vineyard …we didn’t want to leave. The wine was also amazing- I hope to find aquitania wine back in the states. Definitely recommend doing this tour as it was the highlight our trip to Italy…also recommend Valentina as your tour guide :)Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten March 24, 2024

I visited the winery in Nov/23 on the "icon" tasting tour. I liked the more intimate experience, less "mass tourist" like in other Chilean wineries. The wines were wonderful! The service was very friendly. As it is a small winery, the visit part is quick but there is a good explanation about the planting and the cellar. Easy access from Santiago via metro and bus (line 4 to Quilin station and from Quilin shopping center take the D17 bus which stops close to the winery) (or take an Uber).

We went to the Aquitania winery because it is within the city of Santiago. You can get there by public transport or Uber. It was easy to find Uber to return too (we didn't leave the return scheduled with any driver)
We took the tour with Ana, who explained to us about the history of the winery (which is very new), about wine production, storage and then we went on to the tasting.
They only do the tasting for small groups, precisely to be more personal. Ana seemed to have a lot of knowledge about wines. My favorite part was the tasting because unlike many wineries, Ana explained the smells, colors and flavors of the wines. There is also a cheese and dried fruit board to accompany each wine.
We were lucky enough to meet a really nice couple that day, which made the trip much more enjoyable.
The place is beautiful, with the mountain range in the background and makes for good photos.

I did countless research on wineries around Santiago and chose Aquitaine for the good reviews. I was not disappointed... on the contrary, the experience was much better than my expectation. The place is wonderful, with an amazing view of the Cordillera. The Guide is super polite, explains everything in detail, looking in the eyes and removing doubts gently and carefully. The wines are wonderful... Paul Bruno is of an amazing taste! The tour was intimate (only me and my husband) and we could make the tasting calmly, enjoying the drinks, the cold table and the place. I highly recommend this experience

One of the best things to do in Santiago. Besides the great view of the vineyards and tasteful wine degustation, we had such an excellent tour with Barbara, the local’s guide, who managed to speak fluently with us in Portuguese and English. I’ve been there with my girlfriend, but it’s also a very enjoyable tour to do with friends or relatives.

Lovely vineyard south of Santiago by 30mins.
Had the English tour at 1230 by Karin.
It was about 45 of walking around and 30mins of tasting 4 wines with some cheese crackers and nuts.
First we went to the view point at the tower with an over view of the vineyard followed by the vines itself.
We then went to look at the barrels and tanks followed by the bottling, labelling.
Lastly the wine tasting.
The lazuli is included with a Pinot noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wine.
Very steep for £40 per person- isn’t the best value for money!

This month of August, I was able to meet 4 excellent wineries in Santiago and Valparaíso, and I can say that Viña Aquitania was the most interesting of them. A really special place for several reasons. I say that because the place offers wines that are especially focused on quality, rather than a large-scale production; in addition, there is a privileged view of the Andes mountain range and super-trained professionals, such as the case of Valentina, who, in addition to being super gentle, gave us with their knowledge about the whole wine production process and the necessary conditions that must be provided for grape cultivation. At the end of the guided tour, we were able to taste great wines, and of course we took advantage to buy a few bottles at the winery itself. I highly recommend Viña Aquitania!

Spectacular winery, which combines good wines with an incredible view of the mountain range.
Tours in English, Spanish or Portuguese and always with a maximum of 10 people.
The guide Karen is extremely kind and helped the group to connect, in addition to explaining the entire wine production process.
We found out about the winery through a recommendation from a wine store attendant.
It is possible to reach the location using a transport app or by public transport.

Spectacular winery!
Despite being a family winery, not as well known as the big wineries in Santiago, it was one of the best experiences I had during my time in Chile (May 2024). Valentina was a great guide, introducing us to all the winery's processes, from planting to bottling the wines. We were very lucky that day, as it was an exclusive guided tour, once it was just me and my wife, something impossible on other occasions. At the end of the visit we were offered 4 great wine labels, which were included in the tour, as well as a board of cheeses, biscuits and almonds to pair with the wines, after which we still had the "toast" of another tasting of an extra label.
Above the winery it is simply spectacular, with a perfect view of the Andes Mountains, which make for beautiful photos as can be seen below.

Obrigada
Written July 24, 2018

26.000 pesos jogados no lixo.

I was interested in booking a tour for 11-August-2016 @ 11:00. I have filled out their contact form, emailed and called but have not received any response or confirmation. Are they still giving tours? I really want to visit but don't want to risk going there without a confirmation.

Oi Mariana, boa tarde.
Obrigado,
Diniz
