This really exceeded our expectations. The pieces in the collection were quite good. No, they're not by artists you'd necessarily know, but they were of excellent quality. The building itself is worth touring for its features, bones, and views. This is one place not to...More

Great house to visit. Apart from its beautiful architecture and great location, this is a fantastic museum displaying a great fine art collection from XIXth and XXth century painters. The entrance price may seem high but this museum has very nice (figurative) art. I would...More

This is the most interesting architecture of any building in Valparaiso. It is an eclectic hodgepodge of Byzantine, Tudor, Bavarian, and who-knows-what-else influences and is worth slowly strolling around to take in the embellishments that characterize every side and angle. It doesn't hurt that the...More

The house is stunning as well. Palacio Baburizza is the former residence of Croatian businessman Pascual Baburizza. His art collection was left to the city. Tourist pay a different entrance then locals but it won’t break the bank it was around $4 USD. Take an...More

If you wander over to Paseo Yogoeslavo, take some time to tour this amazing home with an outstanding art collection. Yes, you can get ticked off that they charge foreigners 2x more than Chilean nationals. But we felt it was worth it. It will take...More

Stunning Art Nouveau mansion belonging once to a shipping magnate, set on a bluff overlooking the city and housing a lovely art museum. The collection, although not spectacular, is nevertheless quite good. It primarily consists of late 19th and early 20th century French, Spanish and...More

The house and its position and its restoration are superb. The art was quite interesting although we would give it 5 stars if some explanations were in English

This is a peaceful haven on Cerro Alegre. There is a great array of art work from around Europe as well as Chile and it is fascinating to study the 19th century paintings of Valparaiso. I couldn't get the audio guide to work properly but...More

Fabulous collection and an amazing position. Really enjoyed this but it would be so much better with information offered in other languages given Valparaiso is now such a tourist destination. Would still recommend it as an activity followed by lunch nearby
