We were on Coral 1 from May 7 to 10 2017. We were in a cabin on the bottom deck which was cramped. Coral 1 is an adequate boat but everything about it is dated. The food was simple and dull but not an issue as we were there for the wildlife. We had two full days and two half... More

The Beagle sailing ship was our home for a splendid 7.5 days in the Galapagos Islands. Because the seas were so calm during our visit, we didn't have the opportunity, unfortunately, to travel under sail, so we motored from island to island, mostly in the evening or at night. Every day presented a new adventure! Comfortable accommodations for 14 guests;... More

Awesome trip! Wildlife is plentiful - you can't not see it everywhere. A few comments I haven't seen elsewhere. The last minute prices for an 8 day trip are not that much cheaper than what people paid a couple of months in advance (if cheaper at all). Everybody on our boat thought they had the best deal but in fact... More

My wife and I with two friends did the 7 night western itinerary on the Anahi catamaran. I highly recommend this boat. It was a great trip and a great boat, clean, modern, and spacious. Roberto, our guide, was a fount of knowledge about the wildlife, geology, and history of the islands. The crew was extremely helpful and professional. They... More

Fabulous trip on Endeavour II with National Geographic/Lindblad. Great naturalists, excellent food, lots of activities. Ship holds about 96 passengers - nice size. But some random travel pointers for those of you who like tips: Get a room on the 3rd floor -- you're closer to the lounge and the doorway/platform for loading people onto zodiacs (the little boats), and... Best Price Guarantee - Celebrity Cruises offers a “Best Price Guarantee” but pay attention to the fine print. In my case, this was nothing but an empty gesture. In December 2016, I booked a May 14 sailing. I made the full payment in January as this was the due date. In March, I noticed that they were advertising a cabin... More

This was, for us, pretty well the trip of a lifetime! If you have ANY interest in natural history it is fascinating. Most days consisted of a 'hike' in the morning (not demanding although some of the ground is a little rough) viewing birds, iguanas, turtles and sealions - none of which have the slightest fear of humans. This is... More

We loved our week-long cruise in the Galapagos! The boat (Eric), crew (Ecoventura), guides, organization, activities, creatures, information, food, company were all really great. No complaints at all. The biggest downsides were getting there and home (the islands are kind of out of the way), the price, and it was fairly hot in February - great for snorkeling, but not...
