This is a truly wonder with non comparison around the world. Its architectural richness is indescribable and almost impossible to define by words. The cover of his main temple, completely carved in volcanic stone and its internal decoration, completely covered with gold leaf, is one...More

The church is beautiful from the outside. But to enter the church they charge $5.00 from foreigners and $2.50 from locals. This is the height of hypocrisy, considering the lessons of Christianity about using the temple to make money. I know that it costs money...More

This is a well maintained church. I guess the Jesuits take the $5 cover charge and use it to maintain the building. It seems kinda strange that this is the only church in the old town that charges for admission. But it also prohibits any...More

I’ve seen a lot of churches all over the world, some more grand, some less, but the guide in this one was informative and entertaining. Gold everywhere, but only about 45 pounds...thin gold leaf. Very worthwhile for30-40 mi

Really shows the efforts of the Spanish to impress the locals and interesting overaly of Spanish and local decoration (and the Spanish side additionally looks back to the Moorish influences found in Andulusia)

We were very surprised by the beautiful of the historical center and all the churches. It is valuable to spend enough time to Quito. Two years ago we have been to La Paz and Lima. No comparison! Quito is fantastic

This church is dazzling. Unfortunately, you can't take pictures inside, but postcards are for sale. It is worth a visit just to take in all the art work and the gold leaf.

Absolutely beautiful church with incredible architecture. Be wary though - no photography. I didn't see any signs but found out the hard way...got chastised by a security guard.

Beautiful example of baroque style. The guided tour is worth the price. Very knowledgeable guides. Given advance notice, they can provide an English speaking guide. It is actually a working church with masses celebrated regularly.

Spectacular! This is the finest example of baroque architecture in the Americas. If this church doesn’t give you goosebumps, nothing will.

This is a must stop if you visit Quito. I wish they allowed you to take pictures here. It was beautiful. Recommend you take the guided tour. Not too long and highly informative.

This was one of our highlights! This cathedral was 160 years in the construction, built by the Jesuits. An enormous amount of gilt was used throughout. An absolutely beautiful structure, in the heart of the old city- which must not be missed.

I’m not sure, however each fee’s are very reasonable, some just take donations. I don’t believe we paid more than $5 pp at any of these churches and we visited several. You might try Quinto Tourism for that question.

Puedes conseguir info en la pagina oficial de la fundación, sin embargo el precio de la boda rondaba entre los 500 dólares.
