Visited this church as part of a tour of the old town. I have never seen anything like it before, you would almost need sunglasses entering this church. Steeped in history and so well preserved due to the dry climate of Quito. Highly recommend hiring...More

We've visited many cathedrals around the world, and this ranks with the best. A great organ (wish we had heard it), and the gold leaf on all surfaces (other than the floors) is certainly impressive.

You will feel blinded when you enter this church. A magnificent sight. If you happen to have time for just one single sight in Quito then visit this one. It is on par with some of the famous cathedrals in Europe.

I was in awe at how totally beautiful this church was inside. I would never have expected to have that reaction but it is truly amazing. And the artwork is outstanding. All of the detail. Definitely worth it.

Our guide informed us that there is 7 tonnes of gold covering the walls of this incredible baroque church and it is easy to see how this could be. A truly magnificent building and a "must" to visit in any visit to Quito.

Even if you have seen churches in other places....this one is not to miss! You will not see a more gilded, baroque church anywhere. The opulence is unbelievable...one of the highlights of Quito.

Short time or not much into seeing churches? Visit this one...absolute jaw dropping at the gold that covers everything in it. Ask for a guide--Evelyn is great--so you will notice a lot of details and hear the history of the church. Notice the high windows...More

I’m not sure, however each fee’s are very reasonable, some just take donations. I don’t believe we paid more than $5 pp at any of these churches and we visited several. You might try Quinto Tourism for that question.

Puedes conseguir info en la pagina oficial de la fundación, sin embargo el precio de la boda rondaba entre los 500 dólares.
