Enjoyed the museum. They did tours in English. If you don't know Gauyasamin this museum will teach you. His house is a delete to see.

Really two things to see here the first being the "Chapel of Man". It houses a collection of the artist that is very powerful. Most of the painting represent anger and despair of the Africans and the ingenious people under Spanish rule. There are guides...More

I am not the artsy type, but Guayasamin and his art really impressed me. The tour was very informative, and you get to watch a video in his own words about his art.

This is part of the Guaysamin/Capilla del Hombre site. I think the art gallery (Capilla del Hombre) part is better, but both are included on your ticket, and the Guayasamin museum is also definitely worth visiting. We liked seeing his art studio, and watching the...More

Loved this art exhibit! Very unique paintings. There were English speaking guides to explain about the paintings and the artist. Museum is directly next door to the artist's former home. Would definitely recommend.

Guayasamin, the painter, built this house in the ‘70’s. Must have been collecting before that. A real treat to see his studio and a video of him painting a portrait.

it's pretty out of the way up some steep hills. get a taxi, it's a cheap fare and a difficult walk, especially if it's hot.
