It's cheap, fast, and you get very high up on an active volcano. Views along the way are fantastic. You can hike up as high as your legs will take you once you get up to the top. This is an amazing opportunity to ascend...More

Not far from the old city (about 20min by car), would enable you to have very nice views of the city and mountains/volcanos. Be aware that might be hard to get a taxi to return.

Wonderful experience in Quito city. Cable car brings you to the high point and you have a chance to enjoy the views over the capital city.

I don't think you can give anything less than 5 stars as the view is fantastic. We visited on a bright blue sky day and enjoyed a walk further on up the mountain- only limited by us adjusting to the altitude as it was our...More

Best to go when the sky is clear so you can enjoy the views of Quito. I somehow couldn't find my ticket from the booth to the cable car, and they would have charged me a new one even though I had bought it two...More

You should bring a jacket in this month because there are chilly winds up there. I totally recommend it for great scenic view.

I usually just take a taxi. From the old town it should be about a 15-20 minute ride depending on the traffic. If you dont pay the driver to wait for you, you might have to wait awhile for someone to bring you back down.

It's just a good view. There is a mini cafe but not worth eating there. There is a chapel. Not much else.
