Moderate hike! Early wake up wherever you are and fairly longwalk. It can be cold and windy, gets warmer when it gets later (if the sun is up). It´s not the easisest trail because of the altitude. Especially the last part. Just take it slow...More
We booked through trip advisor / viator. The guide was friendly and accommodating. Even if we were the last ones, he waited for us and kept on encouraging us. The hike was extremely difficult due to the altitude. We were lucky as it was a...More

There were 4 of us and 2 were bigger men. They paid 60 soles round trip and us 2 smaller women paid $50 soles round trip. We had hired a guide for the day and he did the bartering. He charged us $100 soles for the ride there , he walked up the trail and was worth every penny. Even our daughter and son-in-law who are hikers were glad we all rode the horses.
