Our 2D1N tour with Alpaca Expeditions was absolutely amazing. We took the two day Inca Trail trek as we didn't have enough time to do the full length one and it exceeded all of our expeditions. They were very well organized throughout the entire time...More

HI Jonathan, I am thinking of doing the 4D tour by train as I am 64 y.o. and I am afraid the trekking may be too much for me. On the itinerery, it says there is no trekking and no meals included. I was surprised to read your review about the 3 course meal. do you have to pay extra for it. Also about the trekking, how long did you have to walk ?

Hi, just email or call the company they should be able to answer all of your questions. I did 5d/4n Salkantay Trek and it was quite intense, however , the oldest person in the group was the fastest. Good luck, Anastassia

I plan to do the 4/3 private Inca Trail Trek in May. I have a 2.5L camel for water- if I run out at some point, will there be extra water somewhere on the trail (provided by porter or guide) for those "emergencies?" Is 2.5L cutting it close? I'm 5'11 athletic female.

Do not worry - you will get fresh water at each meal - so the 2.5 only needs to last from breakfast until lunch - which is more than sufficient. And then from lunch until happy hour. If you are worried, you can get a... More
