Amazing Views

The grounds are amazing and the structures are out of this world. Very nice view points to see the site, you will not be disappointed.

Very pleasant walk after hiking Machu Picchu for 2 days. The grounds are well kept and so green. This excursion was optional to our tour.

We visited the Tipon Archeological Park, south of Cusco today. We booked a taxi tour through Taxidatum of Peru for Southern Valley tour. It took us about 40 minutes from our hotel to reach the site in the morning (including some rush hour traffic). It is way up in the mountain. The artificially created terraces are big and the irrigation... More

Another great place to visit. This inca site not only has terraces but also an amazing water system that takes water from glaciers at the top of the mountain and is used to irrigate all areas of the land. It also has a water temple at the top. Very clever and very beautiful. Definitely worth the trip and entry is... More

About 45 minutes from Cusco, this peaceful Inca site is worth a visit. Famous for it's terraces, it is also a place for ceremonies and purification thanks to the water systems.

My wife and I travelled to Cusco for 10 days and Tipon was one of our day trips. (Bring Snacks if you don't like street food) We started by taking the city bus to the city of Tipon. It took around 45min and cost 4 soles. These are the buses that are racing through the city of Cusco and it'll... More

This was a fascinating trip and I would do it again in a heartbeat. This was a very interesting archeological site and I encourage others to visit this place and experience what I have experienced.

We took the public bus to Tipon and walked the hour walk upo the hill from the center of the village. It is a nice walk and great conditioning if you are about to go on a trek. You can enter thel site with the Boleto Turistico you can purchase in Cuzco. Take a snack and spend the day exploring... More

We enjoyed listening to the water flow all around us. This site was green and was a gorgeous contrast from the blue sky. We got a taxi here from cusco and also visited Picillacta for 120 soles. I think this site is worth a visit and is different from other inca sites. If you take the hiking path up to... More
