Magnificent Inca ruins. A must see if you are around Cusco. Plenty of other sites nearby to make a half day tour.

Sacsayhuamen is an Inca ruin on a hill overlooking Cusco. An amazing ruin, built as a fortress. Worth the trip as the views of Cusco are amazing. Don't forget to visit the White Christ Statue.

Was not informed facility does not accept credit cards or american dollars. Hiked up hill and never able to enter facility due to lack of local soles.

You can see the beautiful Cusco town from this place. there may not be able to see other things besides the huge bolder, but i enjoyed the visit..

We took a boat to the floating islands saw the local villagers and had our passport stamped. It's pretty cool to see how the make the floating villages and live on the islands.

We didn't take a bus, we did the City Tour. There are lots of companies that offer the tour, we used the one recommended by our hotel. For $40 per person, we had a half day tour of several sites, with transportation... More
