I traveled from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu and it was a great experience. The Windows were large enough to capture great photos. The staff was very helpful in ensuring that I got off at the right stop.

When we booked months ago, it was the Perurail Andean Experience but as from4 May, I was taken over by Belmond. They have transformed the trains for the better. As they were only in their second week of operation, there were some teething problems, understandably...More

PeruRail now owes me over $800 due to charges that "failed" to generate tickets on their site. They have no record of the tickets or charges but have extracted payments from my account and are refusing to take calls regarding refunds!! I finally received an...More

Traveling to and from Aguas Calientes arranged by the trekking company we signed up with and they set up the whole thing. All we needed was show up at the right car at the right time. I have to say that traveling via the Peru...More

They sure know how to cheat the tourists! It was a nice train but we were too exhausted from hiking to enjoy it.

We took the train to Macchu Picchu. The way there was calm with great views. On the way back, there were a number of folks that had just completed a four-day trek, and along with it, a number of drinks. We would like to compliment...More

Traveling by train from Cuzco to Puno is best done via the train, not by a bus. The Perurail service provides a much more comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable way to travel. You can sit back, enjoy the view, stretch your legs and have lunch on...More

I purchase a roundtrip ticket from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu. The payment said declined on your site. When I check my credit card statement you did charge my card. What do I do now? I have no train ticket and you guys charge my card 147.00USD?

We will be traveling from Cuzco to Aguas Calientes. We'd like to get off the train in Ollantantaybo to see some sites there, and to get back on another train later on the same day to continue to Aguas Calientes. Can we do that on one through ticket, or must we purchase a separate ticket from Ollantantaybo to Aguas Calientes?

Given most seats are reserved, I'd presume you'd need to buy the Cusco-O, then O-Aguas Calientes with specific times. Of course, the definitive response would come from PeruRail representatives.
