Bit of confusion at the start of our afternoon ATV tour of Maras and Moray - we were picked up 20 minutes late, and bundled in with a bunch of Spanish speakers (which was totally fine and fun). Equipment worked well, and guides knew the...More

We did the 4-wheeler ATV tour that took us to Moray & the salt mines. It was a fun way to see both places instead of just taking another van/bus tour to each location. In addition to seeing moray & salt mines we saw a...More

This was a 6 hour tour (9am to 3pm). i took the tour from Cusco with Andes Journeys. I used my universal ticket that I purchased for 130 soles at Qorinkancha. Moray, the Inca Amphitheater, was a unique site and many beautiful scenic views of...More

Moray is definitely a site to see! It's off is the main road which requires a bit of a "bumpy ride" on a dirt road. The site is small but worth the experience and pictures!

I wasn't sure what to expect when going to Moray, I've seen pictures and it on TV so I knew it was beautiful. However once we got there it was clear the picture had not done this fantastic location full justice. It was breath taking...More

The acclimating of crops to ever higher altitudes and other tricks were clever indeed. The genius of improving on Ag production reminded me of the clever design of the round barn in the Shaker Museum in Massachusetts.

How to do Moray/Salinas on a budget: Catch a 1.5hr collectivo from Avenida Grau for 6 soles to a junction near Moras. I shared a taxi with some other tourists to the Salinas for 5 soles each way and the taxi waited. Entry to the...More

We hired a private taxi to go from Yucay to Salinas and to the Maras salt marsh. It was well worth it. Moray is a really unique Inca site, a sort of greenhouse: It is interesting to observe the exact concentricity of the terraces, the...More

I didn't have any problems. One night in Lima, Landed in Cisco, went straight to Sacred Valley for 2 nights, did Moray on the way back to Cisco, spent 2 nights there.
