Moray is definitely a site to see! It's off is the main road which requires a bit of a "bumpy ride" on a dirt road. The site is small but worth the experience and pictures!

The acclimating of crops to ever higher altitudes and other tricks were clever indeed. The genius of improving on Ag production reminded me of the clever design of the round barn in the Shaker Museum in Massachusetts.

Both moray and maras are on the way to see salinas of moray, so dont miss it! Its a quick visit and not much to hike there but something worth seeing. The road is beautiful!

I didn't have any problems. One night in Lima, Landed in Cisco, went straight to Sacred Valley for 2 nights, did Moray on the way back to Cisco, spent 2 nights there.

I suppose it's possible for a cyclist but it is a very mountainous region and once you get off the main road to turn to Maras, the road is not paved and very rocky. I'm sure the bike rental shops could help guide you to the... More
