We visited the market three times to see the incredible food, color and people. My sons ate there. They had a large plate of chow-mein type noodles and topping with glasses of mint tea. I tasted both and they were excellant and since they were...More

Worth visiting not just inside the market, but also the streets surrounding it. Lots to looks at, food, clothes, arts, crafts, juices. I bought some small wooden spoons off a really friendly lady, and also bought a Peru football shirt from another stall. Always worth...More

From food and drink to cheese, pan and spices, this market has something for everyone. The locals and tourists shop there and you can see people from all walks of life. Have a drink and people watch

This is where the locals shop. Prices are very good so there isn't a big need to barter. I was buying some chocolate and there were 4 types to pick from. I asked which was the best and they pointed to not the most expensive....More

We went here a couple times. They sell local crafts, street food and groceries (fruit, meat etc). Great place to see locals and purchase gifts to bring home. Yes they will bargain for sure. Loved it.

As above mentioned. The market is primarily for the local but for a tourist i am sure you can also get some benefits. BTW the Peru food except the soup are unpalatable...I am from Hong kong

This market is just a few blocks from the main square. Not only do they have everything a tourist would want but you get to see some of the produce and goods unique to the area. Some things you will not see anywhere else.

Fascinating! Very authentic. Great demonstrations of shearing, carding, dyeing, weaving. Don't forget to bargain. Suggested rule of thumb is one third less than asking price. It worked for us.

Went on the recommendation from the 3 days in Cusco guide. Flea market for locals, with knockoffs of international products. No local charm whatsoever.
