This is where the locals come to shop. El Baratillo has everything from super inexpensive souvenirs to brand name second-hand hiking clothes and shoes. We found Salomon hiking boots in perfect shape that fit my husband's big feet for $35. Retail $175. There is so much hiking clothes and shoes to choose from. The used hiking shoes/boots are in a separate white building just down the main market area. Ask the locals where, and they'll show you the way. At the main market I bought souvenirs for 1/4 of the asking price at the Pisac market. El Baratillo market is walking distance from Plaza de Armas no need for a taxi. The market can get a bit crowded in some areas but otherwise the experience is great!…

Ever saturday is fleemarket day in Cusco! I really like the atmosphere there and the offered food. For example I ate an excellent trout. If you don't mind eating on the street it is a very good place to go. The offered good are interesting to see - one can buy everything on El Baratillo. I think it is just an experience to see and feel the normal life in Cusco there apart form the polished up center. My recommendation: Don't be afraid and go there!…

We are regular visitors here. The menu is extensive and compare very well against other restaurants. The Cola De Torro is a must. All food is good.
