I checked for a special sweater made out of Baby Alpaca. Price range was between 600 and 300 soles. At Asunta I found it, same quality for 200 soles. The shop is family run and it’s worth going there to compare prices.

I really dont mind buying nonalapaca stuff - but i expect being told the truth when i ask questions to the staff. I asked the staff several times about the sweathers, because i wanted to find out if they are made of wool+cotton or wool+polyester...More

It may not be the "best quality" available, but you can find souvenirs for everyone or piece of warm clothing you forgot to pack. Cheaper than most other places and the owner speaks English.

100% fake products. The prices are too good to be true. But if you want a polyester scarf or pullover thats fine.

After walking through Cusco we found this store. They had the lowest prices for alpaca products. A sweater was S/25, poncho was S/35. They also give out for free key chain alpaca when you leave. Very friendly staff. And they are near the twelve angled...More

This is a good place to buy cheap souvenirs and sweaters. It’s important to note that you’re not buying real alpaca or baby alpaca but rather a blend or something like polyester (regardless of what the salespeople say). I think this is ok because the...More

Our Intrepid guide introduced us the owners of this wonderful shop. It’s huge, mind boggling amounts of clothes and products. We had great service, very helpful. I’m sure they give different prices, to different people on different days, BUT they are running a business, serving...More

An absolutely huge range of goods, styles and quality encompassing everything available at any of the markets. The saleswomen are irrepressibly pushy but you have ample time to browse, as they dart from one awe-struck customer to another. This is the best location for souvenirs,...More
